Grigg was honored to provide graphic production for the exhibition "In the Neighborhood" at the Detroit Historical Museum. We worked with the talented and imaginative team including members from The Jewish Historical Society of Michigan, The Detroit Historical Museum, Eric Keller Design and Flutter & Wow Museum Designs.
Our work included the prepress, production and fabrication of custom vinyl type, banners, panels and signage.
We are proud when we get "post-production" comments like this:
I especially want to acknowledge Chris Trombley and Dave Anger for their great eye for detail and quality, and for their exceptional customer service throughout the production process. The response to the exhibit…has been terrific, and Grigg Graphic Services played a key part in accomplishing this.
University of Michigan Ann Arbor
Regent Recognition Wall for Alexander G. Ruthven Building
Grigg worked with the University of Michigan to create a custom-designed wall to honor past, current, and future Board of Regents. We helped design and fabricate a cohesive recognition system that was visually appealing within the surrounding space (looked like it belonged there), easy to add and remove from as needed for future updates (future regent names, edit or removal of past names), and made of sturdy, reliable material intended for long-term residency that requires minimal maintenance. We worked on the design, project management, and installation from concept to completion.
Grosse Pointe Historical Society
Legends of Grosse Pointe Exhibition
This was a fun Halloween-themed exhibition we designed, produced and installed for the Grosse Pointe Historical Society. There were 20 panels total - all done on PVC board and hung from a discrete rail system using cables, clips and panel grippers.
A custom-designed and fabricated wall built to honor those who support CARE House of Oakland County. This wall was made from custom-routed pin letters for the title and green tinted acrylic with aluminum and vinyl all set with stand-off from the wall. Canvas-printed and framed photos were added for accents. We were also able to make updates as needed in 2022 including donors listed and new acrylic panels.
We worked on the design and project management of directional signage for Marycrest including eight signs which were constructed and installed around the entire property. Some signs were one-sided and others two-sided depending on the location needs.
Outdoor Fence Wrap - from concept to completion
Grigg worked with the client to custom design a fence wrap to promote the construction of a new luxury senior living facility. We worked on the design, project management and installation. We also art directed an aerial photoshoot of the site with a drone, designed the Lakeshore Senior Living logo, created marketing collateral, stationery, ads, ground-breaking invitation and website.
We have worked on gallery labels and signage for a number of museums using a variety of materials like direct print to acrylic, traditional paper and matboard, vinyl and sintra. Here are just a few examples.
We designed a popup display and custom signage for MVC USA including wide aluminum brushed 1/4" router cut logo mounted to 1/4" gloss white acrylic with 3/4" standoffs.
Outdoor Signage - from concept to completion
Grigg worked with the client and the overall construction manager to custom design and build a monument sign to compliment the new building. We worked on design, project management, construction and installation for the monument sign, exterior directional signage, interior room and wayfinding signage system and decorative wall and window graphics at Sanctuary at White Lake.
