The Aster Awards has become the nation’s most elite competition dedicated to recognizing the most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising, marketing and communications. Winning entries, judged by a diverse panel of industry experts, are published in the Marketing Healthcare Today magazine. Grigg received a Gold Aster Award for our design and printing of Giving Matters, a publication for Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation. We were honored to win this award and proud to share it with our friends at Presbyterian Villages of Michigan!
We are proud to announce we recently helped the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) complete the final gallery of their permanent collection. Grigg has had a relationship working with the DIA for more than 30 years assisting with interpretive signage, artwork labels, and gallery graphics for both traveling shows and their permanent collection...
Western Wayne Family Health Centers wanted something that would stand out to children at the dentist office or health clinic, and show them the amount of sugar in their favorite drinks. We came up with a game board concept featuring multiple game pieces that could be mixed and matched on the board, and communicate the relationship between the amount of sugar printed on the drink label vs. the actual amount of sugar represented by varying quantities of sugar packets.
Grigg worked with Dr. Paula Kliger from PsychAssets on her picture book meditation practice, “Power your Heart…You power your Mind”. The book and companion journal are intended for self-study and reflection, and feature principles and practices taught by Dr. Kliger as well as her therapeutic artwork.
We managed the files provided by Dr. Kliger and printed a run of ‘portfolio editions’ that included both the book and journal combined together in a matching dust jacket/sleeve. The book measures 6” x 9”, 172 pages, perfect bound, printed full color on uncoated paper. The accompanying 40 page journal workbook allows readers to explore their feelings and responses to the illustrations and prompts in the book.
Grigg worked with Western Wayne Family Health Centers to create a way to help families use seasonal produce for healthy and cost-effective meals. The package consists of a container that has a notepad with a magnetic strip and a series of 52 recipes on cards that are held together using a chrome plated ring. The cards are printed on synthetic paper to stand up to lots of use!
